Willie Nelson

I think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. God put it here. If He put it here and He wants it to grow, what gives the government the right to say that God is wrong?

Even though I don't smoke marajuana, I agree. I think the native Americans had it right; everything had a purpose and a ceremony behind it.
When they used stuff like pot there was a reason and it was in moderation. The Modern Americans have a Big problem with that word!!

Nice, and so very CowboyZen, just like Willie.

I saw him about 15 years ago in a little town near Austin.

Adolph Hoffner, an extremely elderly statesman of Texas Swing music, was playing with The Pearl Brewery Band at the Pedernales (pronounced "Purd-un-Alice") Fire Dept. Fish Fry fundraiser. Willie's tour bus came bumping on down the little ranch road near the stage, and people began hollering for Willie.

The bus stopped, Willie got out and proceeded to get up on stage and jam with Mr. Hoffner. He was so, er, "mellowed" that he forgot the words to a few of his songs, and so we all sang Willie's songs while he strummed along.

A classic Willie moment.
