Stones in Halifax!!

I dunno where these old dudes get their energy but man they sure know how to rock on stage! Can't wait to see em rock Hali in September!! Woooooo wooooo!!!

Ron, Charlie and Keith are really small on the page so it was hard to get them nice and wrinkly... but oh well.... who knows... maybe I'll make a large version and do it right.

Cheers!

Whoops, forgot to mention that my old blogger blog is moving to a new home. I'm trying to dig up some cool animation stuff, like interviews or podcasts with some cool folks, to put on it so it'll be more interesting than just my drawings. Blogger can be a pain sometimes so I decided to switch over to a hosting plan.

...Frog goes into a bank, and approaches a Miss. Patricia Whack, one of the available tellers at the counter...
'I would like a loan!'...states the frog...
'Er ok...' says the teller, do you have anything in the way of collateral?
The frog pulls out a small, pink, tacky looking pocelin elephant no bigger than an inch and sets it on the counter...
'I'm terribly sorry' she says, but I don't think we can work with this...'
...frog says, 'listen, Charlie Watts is my father, and he's a good friends with the manager here, please run it by him.'

She takes the elephant to the manager and explains the situation...'It's all very odd sir, and he wants to use this as collateral,...I mean, what the hell is this thing?'

The manager smiles and simply replies,

'It's a knick-Knack Patty Whack, give the frog a loan...his old man's a Rolling Stone!...'

Ba da boom...tish!

*crawls back under his stone*

A old farmer comes home carrying a duck, his wife is standing at the stove cooking somethign for him when he walks in the door. the old farmer stops and says "see this the gross pig I have been banging." His wife a little confused says thats not a pig thast a duck. The old farmer retorts I wans't talking to you.

GREAT CARICATURE, CJ! I love the way you stuck the band in Mick's gob. So did you move to Halifax already? If you're still in Sydney we gotta do BEERS! Weee!

I'll be seeing The Stones when they come to Regina thanks to my Aunt Judy. I can't wait.

Try and get them to autograph that picture of yours if you get the chance.

That's awesome, Caroline! That's exactly how they came on stage at Magnetic Hill. Mick opened his mouth, unfurled his tongue, and then the rest of the guys hopped off of his taste buds and started rockin' out. I remember there being lots of fire and lots of weed too. I met an old guy from New Brunswick with a Newfie accent. He had been to a lot of concerts in his day... Zeppelin, CCR, all the good ones... He liked me because of my long hair, I guess, so he took me as close as possible to the front of the crowd. I was pretty close.

Anyway, your drawing is very cool. I love the lines! =]
